How To Take Care of Your Pet’s Teeth
Did you know that by age three, 80% of dogs and 70% of cats display signs of gum disease? Taking care of your pet’s dental health can be as easy as 1-2-3 if you follow these simple steps from Petenzymes.com:
1. Brush
Be sure to brush your pet’s teeth at least once per week. We recommend brushing with Ultra-Pure MSM Powder™. Not only is MSM great for joint pain and muscle health when eaten on their food, but it can also be used as a tooth brushing powder to remove dental stains and plaque. Simply sprinkle some onto your pet’s tooth brush, and brush!
2. Rinse
Reduce the bacteria that causes your pet’s bad breath with Oxy-pH Boost™. You can easily spray it onto your pet’s teeth, or use it to brush with. Place 8 drops of Oxy-pH Boost™ in a glass with about 1 ounce of purified of water. Put the diluted mix in a spray bottle and spray it onto your pet’s teeth or soak the bristles of your pet’s tooth brush in the mixture before brushing. You can also add a few drops of Oxy-pH Boost™ to your pet’s water bowl to freshen their breath and alkalinize their system throughout the day. How to Use Oxy-pH Boost™ For Pets.
3. Chew
Your pet eats at least once a day, and this provides a great opportunity to clean their teeth naturally! Total-Biotics® can be added to your pet’s food daily to help crowd out bad bacteria, freshen breath, and keep plaque buildup down. Just add 1 scoop per 1 cup of pet food at each meal. Probiotics can also aid in digestive health and boost the immune system.
We would like to note: It is always important to follow dental care instructions from your veterinarian, along with scheduling regular dental check-ups every 6 months to 1 year.
